The latest issue (December) of Bass Player Magazine marks my return to the magazine as a regular columnist… After a long hiatus, I am back writing for the magazine again, and the latest issue features an article I wrote about alternate fingering and string crossing. If you are trying to break through some technical barriers in your playing, check this one out!
Christian Musician magazine interviewed me in their latest (November) issue… Thanks to Matt Kees and Bruce Adolph for putting this together (and getting a little pic of me on the cover!…) Matt and Bruce are the founders and organizers of the Christian Musician Summit, where I performed for the first time a couple of weeks ago in Redmond, WA. My involvement with Steven Curtis Chapman has opened the door for me to appear at events like these targeted at church musicians. It was a great time. One of the highlights was getting to perform with guitar legend Phil Keaggy and Zoro on drums in an open jam session. There will be a DVD of this released soon, so I hope to make this available to y’all when it’s ready.
