I recently put together some soundclips to help demonstrate the sonic capabilities of Aguilar’s new flagship amplifier, the DB751. This amp is a monster, and I have had a lot of fun putting it through the paces in the studio.
From the Aguilar website:
The DB 751 features an improved preamp that combines the legendary tube driven tone of the DB 750 with greater EQ control. A perfect combination of raw power and excellent tone, the DB 751 continues the legacy set by the world famous DB 750. Delivering 975 Watts at 2 ohms and 750 Watts at 4 ohms this amp has the headroom you need to play any size venue.
To create the different soundclips, I used a variety of different basses:
-Fender ‘75 Jazz
-Curbow Prototype Retro II active Jazz 5
-MusicMan Stingray 5
-Fender ‘57 Reissue P-Bass
-Warrior Custom 6
-Kent ‘71 Hollowbody
-Yamaha TRB 5
You can check them out HERE. The clips are a fun mixture of grooves exemplifying different styles and tones. I hope you’ll enjoy checking them out!
